DART is a custom tool, specifically designed to interface with FDRs and CVRs while they are installed in the aircraft. DART will download the data and automatically send the data wirelessly to a secure portal. DART also gives the user the ability to monitor the data from the recorder for aircraft side troubleshooting.

Supports most recorders in the industry. As additional recorders are added, the capability is remotely pushed to the DARTs in the field and a simple cable is shipped to the customer. This allows your maintenance team to continue to use DART during this process.

Common interface for all of the recorders allows for minimal training. The screen layouts are intuitive and efficient.

DART

Data Acquisition Ruggedized Tool

Manufactured in the USA, DART stands for “Data Acquisition Ruggedized Tool” and is a proprietary flight data acquisition tool developed by KGB Aviation. Leveraging modern-day technology, the device can be remotely accessed through a secure web portal. The basic function of the tool is to connect to either a FDR or CVR and download the recorded data. Once the data is downloaded, DART will act as a secure data transfer tool, sending the data via several secure methods which include: Wi-Fi & Ethernet.

WiFI Capable

DART is the only tool of its kind that is wifi capable. This means you can download data while at the aircraft side and immediately transmit to a secure cloud environment. This is a huge time savings because other tools require the downloaded data to be taken to a computer workstation to be transferred before sending it to its final destination for assessment.

LARGER SCREEN

DART provides a 7” screen that allows the technician the opportunity to view the data live from the FDR. There are several modes of live data monitoring, to make sure that any maintenance manual procedure can be followed using DART. This includes engineering unit display which is required by several aircraft manufacturers.

REMOTE ASSISTANCE

DART has been designed for remote assistance, this allows KGB Aviation’s engineers to provide aircraft side assistance. If the need arises for troubleshooting while DART is in the field, we can offer instant technical support.

SYSTEM UPDATES

Down time for updates is always a challenge. In most cases, you must send the unit back to the OEM for upgrades. With DART, the user will receive a notification that an upgrade is available and will be pushed to the unit at a specified time. Plus, upgrades with KGB Aviation are FREE!
